But heres a small animation done in Flash during a course we had last year. Its just something random :p Since we had to add buttons to the film you must click the character to continue..

Still editing...

had a break after i came home and gotta say I havnt been looking forward to the next stuff im gonna work on...
Since I managed to mess up my reference video for the rig removal mask video it looks like I gotta manually edit every frame and mix pictures together to hide the rig. Its really hard since the camera is moving and the perspective on the background is constantly changing.
This is kinda sad because it wont look perfect but it seems like its the only way to do it :(
If someone know a magic trick to remove a rig when you dont have the background information please comment ;P

Cheers

Miniature with building and massive backdrop sky!

For some shots I needed a miniature version of the crow and here he's looking up on one of the city's buildings.
I allso have a quite big backdrop, a painted canvas with sky, 2m x 1,4m (i think). Unfortunately its actually not big enough for my last set but I guess I just gotta scale things down.. :(

btw! Soon only have the last location to shoot!

Illustration and concept

Here's some images of  how I picture some parts of the story and some of the feel of it.
Animatic will be put up very shortly. Just had to make some minor changes. Can allso inform that my music guy, Phil, have given me an awesome draft for the beginning of the film! Yay!

Some pics from the beginning and up

Basic aluminium wire with heatshrink tube on to protect the wire.

K/N's on washer for using replaceable arms. Attached on the armature below the neck

Body shaped out of matrass foam and added K/Ns on armature.

Hand sewed trousers!

Miniature and Crow posing. Arms have a layer of blu-tack and then coated with dark pigmented latex.

Painted the head black before starting to glue tiny bits of feather from the back of the head and up.

More to come! Starting on my sets this week and dont really have much time... Hope it doesnt get too bad... :|

Huzza! Here are some pictures of the puppet i've been working on lately. Its the main character for my Major Project, shortfilm, here in Cardiff.

Jacket and trousers are hand sewed

The feathers are real crow feathers. On the head ive mixed it with fake ones. Eyes are sphere buttons. Head is carved out of balsawood.

Will post more pics from earlier production later and write more details. Animatic will be put up asap allso!
